Now that I have your attention…

While our developers are pulling levers, writing code in the background, and making sure we’re delivering business-critical messages and PIN-codes at the highest delivery rates, they’ve let me know that most customers will not be negatively affected, but it depends on how you’ve set things up.

So, here are the details, please take note:

Date of upgrades: February 1, 2018.

What’s going to happen?

  • The security certificate for will be updated with a new certificate, and the current certificate expires on March 15th. Extra care must be taken if you are using certificate pinning.
  • The IP address for will also change, so please verify that you’re using the domain name (, not a fixed IP address.
  • SMS delivery reports (DLR) will be sent from new IP addresses. You will need to whitelist 3 new IP addresses, in addition to current IP address, if you have restricted async DLR URL access in your firewall:

We are not planning downtime, as these upgrades are expected to be seamless. However, if something out of the ordinary happens, we’ll let everyone know right away.

It’s super important that the technical contact email address in the account settings of the online dashboard is up to date. If not, please update it before February 1st!
